Peak season operating hours

Our peak season operating hours from 1 December to 15 January are designed to help you make the most of your visit. The first cable car departs at 8:00 AM, with the last ride up at 8:00 PM and the final trip down at 9:00 PM. These extended hours mean you’ll have plenty of time to catch the breathtaking Cape Town sunset that everyone raves about.

Free guided walks and audio tours
Explore the mountain’s rich history and natural beauty with free guided walks and audio tours. These experiences are ideal for nature lovers and curious adventurers alike. Park and Ride

With ongoing roadworks along Tafelberg Road and limited parking, we suggest that visitors make use of e-hailing services or make use of our complimentary park-and-ride shuttle services that regularly depart the parking lot at the bottom of Tafelberg Road. 

TMACC will be open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, weather permitting.
