Meet our first Scholarship private pilot
We are so thrilled to celebrate Koree Bostrom – our first RARA Scholarship Squadron student to achieve her private pilot’s license! A huge congratulations to this high school senior for taking the bull by the horns, putting in the hours to study, having the discipline to fly, and earning her certificate in just eight weeks.
As the first of our RARA recipients to earn their license, Koree has blazed a path that shows everyone how this should be done! We are very proud of you. Congratulations again to Koree, her CFI Danny, and the entire team at Great Basin Aviation that helped make this happen.
You can help us bring more pilots like Koree into flying! We only have a few days left in the A Community Thrives Challenge, where we can earn matching grants for raising funds to support our education programs. The deadline is this Friday, August 12th at 6pm Pacific Daylight Time, so please click the link below to donate before time runs out on this opportunity! Thanks to all who have donated so far, and if you’re still considering, we’ve prepared a video to introduce you to a few more of our students so you can see the real quality of what we are achieving with this program.
